Because kids are smiling and laughing, many like to think the circus is a safe and fun place for animals. USDA charged Ringling with 27 violations of animal abuse. Tigers travel and live in cages and elephants chained. Step back and think about how an elephant is trained.. yes, with pain and punishment with use of bull hook and electric prods. Animals live unnatural lives in the circus.
