Is there any value in TEAMS

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” - Helen Keller
I like what John Maxwell has to say about the importance of TEAMS.

A couple of things that John said that caught my attention.
1. Leaders can't do it by themselves.
2. The number 1 is to small of a number to achieve greatness.
3. Team members should complete us not compete with us.
4. Build a team that compliments one another.

One of our values that we hold tightly to in our children's ministry at the Grove is TEAMS.
Kidtropolis Value - Ministry is best accomplished in TEAMS.
I make sure every person that volunteers in Kidtropolis gets that. It's that big of a deal.

Rowing teams are a great example for me of how this should work.
They all stroke together, and move in time with the lead stroker. It's so smooth, and the oares cut through the water like butter.  That's a great picture of how TEAMS should work.

Let's build great TEAMS.
