I Love This Game

If you missed the home run hitting contest on Tuesday night you missed history being made. A guy by the name of Josh Hamilton put on the most amazing hitting performance I have ever seen. Not only does he have an amazing life story he has an amazing bat.

The record for hitting home runs in one round was set back in 2005 by Bobby Abrue with 24. Josh Hamilton on Tuesday hit 28 in his first round. The farthest home run he hit went 518 feet. Wow! Second round he did not even have to hit very long before he made it to the third round. Then in the third round he ran out of steem and lost to Justin Morneau. When we talk about the 2008 home run hitting contest no one will really talk about Justin, all they will be talking about is Josh Hamilton. If you have 10 minutes you will want to watch this clip of Josh. It is amazing. That's why I think this is the greatest game on the planet.
