White Sox take game #2

Carlos Quentin launched a solo home run 366 feet over the right-field wall in the bottom of the seventh to break a tie and send the White Sox to a 6-5 win over the Cubs at U.S. Cellular Field on Saturday.

The White Sox bullpen was impressive in relief of Vazquez. Boone Logan, Nick Masset and Matt Thornton struck out six of the 10 batters they faced. Scott Linebrink and Bobby Jenks combined for two scoreless frames to close out the game.

Jermaine Dye homered to left center, A Pierzynski scored. 2 - 2
Joe Crede doubled to deep left, Jim Thome scored. 3 - 2
Orlando Cabrera doubled to deep right, A Ramirez scored. 4 - 2
Mark DeRosa singled to center, M Fontenot scored, K Fukudome to second. 4 - 3
Derrick Lee doubled to deep left center, K Fukudome and M DeRosa scored. 5 - 4
Aramis Ramirez homered to left. 5 - 5
Carlos Quentin homered to right. 6 - 5
