We decided as a staff this year that instead of going to a church conference we would find some church facilities we could tour, and sit down with their staff for a little Q&A.  All the face to face time we had with these churches was outstanding. I had a chance the other day to see Tim Hannig in action performing his Pro Kids Show for over 300 kids. Tim is a great friend and an outstanding performer. That was just a little taste of the energy and fun we had this season at our midweek Awana program. We ended with a lot of momentum going into next year. A lot of times you start a program strong and end okay, but this season our midweek gathering started good, but ended very strong and healthy. I think it also puts excitement into our volunteers to come back and do it again next year. I love it!

The homestand started out great with series wins over the Yankees and Angels, but it ended poorly by the Indians taking 2 out of 3.Sox continued their poor fielding by making 8 errors on the homestand.
