Crosstown Classic

To say there was a lot of excitement going into Thursday's game at Wrigley Field would be a stretch.  Mathematically both the Cubs and the Sox are still in it but realistically probably not.

The Good News:

Behind an outstanding performance from Carlos Torres the White Sox beat the Cubs 5-0 at Wrigley.  With the win the White Sox take the season series 4-2.  That brings the all time season series lead for the Sox to 37-35.

The Sox now go on to open up a home stand against the Boston Red Sox.
